Character

Who dances it: Everyone

A dance from Cheriana (Şiran) in the Argyroupoli (Gümüşhane) area, fairly slow with small steps. It has sixteen steps led by the right foot and moves to the right. It is also called 'twenty-one': some say because the steps trace the figure 21 on the ground, others because it once had 21 steps.
