Character
Who dances it: Everyone
A men's dance from Amari in Rethymno, a variant of the pentozali with ten steps (sixteen in another version). Oral tradition says that around 1800 a captain from Ampadia, lame from a battle wound, wanted to dance the pentozali, and the musicians and dancers adapted the rhythm and steps to his limp.
