Character
Who dances it: Everyone
A lively dance from Northern Epirus in 9/8 (2+2+2+3), the local version of the fisouni of Preveza. Its phrase has sixteen moves in four motifs of four. It takes its name from the song that goes with it and, together with the pogonisios and 'sta tria', is at the core of every feast in villages such as Tserkovitsa (Theologos).
